Knights at the Museum
Join the re-enactors of Historia Normannis as they transport you to 1194, to celebrate the 825th anniversary of the granting of Portsmouth's first charter by King Richard I.
Enjoy displays of 12th century combat, discover more about the everyday life of Anglo-Normans and see period skills authentically re-created. There will be plenty of opportunities to get hands-on and ask questions, and there will be talks and displays throughout the day - including a 12th century fashion show!
Please note that due to nature of this event there will be no public parking available at the museum throughout the day.
